Van Kitchen Pods by Cascade Campers

I had the pleasure of interviewing the staff of Cascade Campers a few years ago for the Tiny House Magazine. This small van conversion company has been growing every year and now have something more to add to their van-building repertoire—kitchen pods.

Cascade Campers converts Promaster City vehicles into simple camper vans.

One of the more daunting steps of building out a van is the kitchen. This is where the aspects of plumbing and pumps, power, cabinetry work, and more fine details come into play.

Cascade Campers now offers an affordable van kitchen that contains a self contained water system, stove, countertop, battery pack for the pump, and storage space for cooking tools and stoves.

The company now offers kitchen  pods complete with fresh and grey water tanks.

“Do you want to spend months building your dream campervan kitchen or do you want to get out there adventuring in your campervan? We are here to give you that choice. Affordable, functional, and right now,” says Zach Yeager, the owner of Cascade Campers.

The kitchen costs $1,950 and stays simple to keep the cost down. It fits various vans such as Sprinters, Transits, Promasters and even VW Vanagons and buses.

The kitchen contains a food-grade five-gallon fresh water tank and a five-gallon grey water tank. The grey tank can be replaced out to be a fresh water tank instead. The sink features an adjustable faucet.

The kitchen pods fit various sized vans.

The cabinetry is also simple with a four milk crates for storage, and a drawer that stores the butane stove. A flip up table for additional prep space is made of bamboo.
